A four piece rock band from South Shields who have been playing in venues all over the North East for 20 years. Currently playing covers from artists including Bon Jovi, The Dead Daisies, Duran Duran, Free, INXS, Led Zeppelin, Metallica, Nirvana, Pink Floyd, Prince, Queen, Robert Palmer, Simple Minds, Stereophonics.

They say: ”we are a diverse rock band fusing together rock, blues, folk and punk and anything we care to play. All the bands we’ve ever admired fused elements of multiple music genres and by doing so always remained exciting and unpredictable”

MONICA X

Mónica X is a pioneer DJ in Spain and also recognised globally. She has performed all over the world in more than 20 different countries and runs her own record label “Sex in the House”. Musically hyperactive, she moves through the field of music with judgment, energy and honesty. She currently hosts a monthly Remember Music Radio Show on “MDT Radio”, called “Generation X” to revive the songs that made us vibrate in the 90s and 2000s. She has published 70 tracks, an electronic album called “This is X” and 15 compilations. She has received several awards in recognition of his career and has shared the booth with many internationally recognized DJs. The future is not yet written, but she has made history.

If you’re worried a girl singing rock doesn’t work, then think again. She does it all, from 70s rock, the 80’s good times, 90’s to now – she’ll nail them all and then some… Does she ruin the “boys in the band” gang? Well she drinks more than us, swears more than us, and her jokes are far worse than ours. She fits in well!
Come and see us and judge for yourselves, but we think we’ve got one of the best rock singers in the north-east!

Brought to you by Production Eighteen, a creative powerhouse born from Sunderland College, “Devotion” is where gig theatre collides with classic storytelling. Set against the gritty backdrop of the boxing scene, this reimagined version of Romeo and Juliet pulses with the swagger and sound of the Britpop era.

The night begins with an art and photography exhibition, capturing the spirit of the ’90s, before the stage is set for an electrifying theatrical performance. Get ready for two live bands, brand new music videos, and a powerful narrative that breathes new life into Shakespeare’s timeless love story.
